In v49 of Palaeontologia africana, Paul Barrett and I describe the remains of a small, basal sauropodomorph collected from near the village of Lusitu, Zambia, sometime in the late 1950's - early 1960's. Although mentioned in several publications at that time, this material was never described and its dinosaurian affinities were never assessed. The first article in v49 of Palaeontologia africana has arrived! It's a description of a new biarmosuchian skull from Zambia by Chris Sidor. What's cool is that the skull was illegally collected from North Luangwa National Park, smuggled to the USA, but ultimately returned to Africa.
