This course examines how the anatomy of living and extinct vertebrates has been shaped through evolutionary processes for functional purposes. It builds on knowledge of comparative anatomy, biodiversity, systematics, and developmental biology. It looks at four major body systems: Musculoskeletal, Feeding and Digestive, Circulatory, and Respiratory. Two sample lectures are provided below:
